Reverse Engineering/Remanufacture Viability Analysis

We don’t cut corners. We cut failure rates. We reverse-engineer complex parts and create custom solutions, even when no viable remanufacturing option currently exists.

At CRP Reman, every component undergoes a rigorous, repeatable process centered on quality, precision, and performance. Whether we’re remanufacturing a delicate PCB or a heavy-duty truck’s power steering unit, the steps are consistent — and intentionally exacting.

We start with teardown and inspection. Each part is fully disassembled, cleaned, and evaluated to identify root causes of failure — not just surface symptoms. Components that meet spec are reconditioned. Those that don’t are replaced or upgraded.

Next comes reassembly using high-quality materials and controlled procedures. Where the original design showed weakness, we engineer in improvements. Where tighter tolerances are needed, we hold the line.

Then comes validation: every unit is tested using custom-built EOL equipment that simulates real-world operating conditions — ensuring performance that meets or exceeds OE expectations.

Throughout the process, we document and track every step. This level of control ensures consistency from batch to batch, providing our customers with complete confidence in what they are getting.

Because for us, remanufacturing isn’t a workaround. It’s a better way forward.
