CRP History

Initially founded in 1954 as Conti Rubber Products Inc., CRP Industries was started by Dr. Adam Schildge to represent the German firm Continental AG in the US marketplace. Dr. Schildge conducted business with pride and respect, placing great importance on customer service and long-term relationships.

In 1974, CRP began expanding its horizons in search of the next opportunity. Adam’s son George spearheaded the effort to diversify — adding new and different products through a wide range of high-level, high-quality suppliers.

Today, CRP Industries is helmed by Adam Schildge’s grandson, Dan. This Navy veteran leads a team of more than 150 highly skilled employees, operating out of facilities in Cranbury, NJ, Conway, SC, Ann Arbor, MI, and Puebla, Mexico. Our product line has continued to grow into a prestigious roster of brand names you know and trust, including AAE, Pentosin, Perske, Rein, Reinflex, and more.
